Gmail and Shopify: prepare AI replies in the Repliva workspace

Set up your support inbox, store and policies. Learn what to check during configuration and where your team reviews replies.

Connect your inbox without changing its address

Repliva uses the support inbox and store you connect to gather requests and context. Your team examines conversations and drafts in the Repliva workspace. This does not mean that native drafts are created inside the Gmail interface.

Identify the support inbox and correct store before starting. If you manage several businesses, explicitly check which configuration and policies you are setting up.

Prepare the required access

Use a Repliva account and a Shopify account authorized to connect the store. For Gmail, choose the intended mailbox account and review the permissions requested during connection.

Do not paste passwords or credentials into policies or AI conversations. Your Google administrator may need to allow the connection if your organization restricts third-party apps. Wait for Repliva to confirm the connection status before assuming it succeeded.

Configure the store before assessing drafts

Complete the Shopify and Gmail connections during setup. Define the rules your team uses for shipping, returns, refunds, subscription requests, tone and reply language.

Imported information is a proposal to review. Clarify policy exceptions or contradictions before using them for support. Customer reply language is a separate setting from the language of the page.

Review the first conversation

Choose a straightforward request and verify that it comes from the intended inbox. Check the customer and order association, supplied references and relevance of the displayed data.

Read the draft before sending. Look for unconfirmed dates, actions described as completed, repeated requests for information and instructions that conflict with store policy. Editing the wording should not change the customer or order you are replying about.

When the result is unexpected

Disconnected inbox: check the account and connection status before repeating setup. Unidentified purchase: verify the reference rather than substituting another order. Reply outside policy: correct the configuration and review the case again.

To assess value for your store, measure a representative sample including reading, checking, editing and sending. Compare similar cases and record the period: time saved varies with request complexity.
